Objectives Simplify the traditional process for the clarification of the apple juice.
TAMI's solution

Micro or ultrafiltration ceramic membrane INSIDE CéRAM allows the clarification of apple juice by the replacement of classical coagulation and dead end filtration steps.
The filtration splits the juice into two parts:

– a clear juice (the permeate) for bottling or concentration.
– a retentate with less than 3 % of the initial volume.

Benefits

– Increase the yield of clarification (97 % for this process against 90 for the classical process).

-Removal of traditional dead end filtration unit.

– Reduction of consumption of products (enzyme, diatomic earth, and cellulose plates).
